One of my desires as a writer is to include more aspects of nature in my poetry. I often get so caught up in negative aspects of technology, dramas, and relationships around me that I don’t take the time to go outside and explore beauty that I can easily surround myself with. There is beauty just twenty or fifty feet away, and it’s simply beyond my closed doors.
So as a way to feed my soul with the wild outside, I’ve taken my passion for photography and dipped a toe or two into capturing the designs of nature. As my lens discovers magical colors and riveting images, I’m excited to find how my photography experiences in nature will inspire future verses as well.
